Opportunity Overview

Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Gujranwala invites applications for the temporary position of Legal Advisor / Law Officer / Course Writer. This appointment is initially for a period of one year and requires providing legal services related to PHA matters as per Section 7, Sub-section 8(c) of the PHA Act 2012.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for handling legal matters of PHA Gujranwala in various courts (Lower Courts, High Courts, Service Tribunals, etc.) and other relevant forums. This includes dealing with matters related to PRA, FBR, providing legal opinions, and handling other departmental legal affairs as required.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: LLB degree from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Advocate of the High Court.

Compensation and Terms

• A monthly remuneration exceeding PKR 50,000 will be offered, negotiable based on the candidate's experience and expertise.
• TA/DA will be admissible according to BPS-18 rules.
• The appointment is temporary, initially for one year, and potentially extendable based on satisfactory performance. PHA Gujranwala reserves the right to terminate the contract earlier if performance is unsatisfactory.
