Organization Overview

Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority (PAMRA) is seeking two skilled legal professionals to serve as Legal Advisors on a retainer ship basis. The position focuses on handling legal affairs primarily in the High Court and Lower Courts.

Key Responsibilities

The Legal Advisor will primarily focus on:

• Attending the High Court & Lower Courts for placing and defending CPLAs, Writ Petitions, Appeals, Civil Suits/cases for and against PAMRA Authority.
• Filing relevant cases and appeals in appropriate courts.
• Preparing and vetting legal documents, reports, and statements.
• Providing legal assistance and advice on various matters concerning the Authority.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualification & Experience: Advocate High Court (LLB or Bar-at-law) actively practicing as an advocate for a period not less than five years immediately before the last date fixed for the receipt of applications.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of Land Laws, Service matters, Labour Laws, Corporate & Civil Laws, and related financial issues. Strong legal acumen and communication skills are required.

Appointment Terms

The appointment will be on a retainer ship basis for an initial term of 02 years, with the possibility of reappointment based on performance. The monthly remuneration is Rs. 150,000/- (Negotiable).
