Job Overview

Applications are invited from suitable candidates having Local/Domicile of Balochistan for the position of Lecturer (Technical) (BPS-17) on a contract basis in Government Polytechnic Institutes.

Locations and Specializations

• Govt. Polytechnic Institutes for Boys, Uthal: Civil Technology (02 Posts), Computer Information Technology (02 Posts), Electrical Technology (02 Posts).
• Govt. Polytechnic Institutes for Girls, Quetta: Architecture Technology (02 Posts), Information Technology / Computer Information System / Computer System Engineer / Software Engineering (01 Post).

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Second Division) / BS Engineering Degree (at least CGPA 2.5) in the relevant Technology (Civil, Computer Information, Electrical, Architecture, IT, Computer Systems, Software Engineering) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
Additional Requirement for Quetta Posts: Having registration with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planning (for Architecture) or Pakistan Engineering Council (for IT/Engineering).

Terms and Reference

Recruitment is on a contract basis.
Candidates must possess Local/Domicile of Balochistan (concerned district).
Female candidates may only apply for the posts at Govt: Polytechnic Institute for Girls, Quetta.
General age relaxation as per Govt. of Balochistan rules.
Recruitment conducted on district basis initially, then division basis if needed.
Merit based on academic qualification (weightage mentioned), teaching experience (30%), communication skills (20%), interview (10%).
Appointment is non-transferable.
Contract may be cancelled if documents are found forged/false.

Applications on the prescribed form are required.
Attach verified copies of all testimonials/documents (qualifications from concerned board/university, Character Certificate, CNIC, Three Photographs, Local/Domicile certificate verified by Deputy Commissioner), duly attested by a Gazetted officer.
Submit separate applications for each post if applying for more than one.
Complete applications must reach the Directorate of Technical Education, Balochistan, (in the basement of building Directorate Education School) near Commerce College, Brewery Road, Quetta.
