The Punjab Public Service Commission, Lahore, is seeking applications for various positions in the Punjab Prisons Department and Mines Labour Welfare Organization, Punjab, Mines & Minerals Department.

Position: Law Officer (BS-17)

Case No. & No. of Posts: 04-RB/2025, 05 Posts (Open Merit=04, Women Quota=01)
Basic Scale, Name & Nature of Post: (BS-17) Law Officer (On Regular Basis)
Prescribed Qualification/Experience as per Service Rules:
i) LLB (second division) from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission;
ii) Member Punjab Bar Council; and
iii) Two years’ active practice as an Advocate.
Note:
i) Only Practical Experience as full time Member Punjab Bar Council shall be acceptable.
ii) Experience Certificates shall be accepted if same is verified / signed by President of concerned Bar Council and counter signed by the District and Sessions Judge concerned.
Age: Male: 21 to 30 + 05 = 35 Years, Female: 21 to 30 + 08 = 38 Years. As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 08-08-2016.

Syllabus for Written Examination: Questions related to Prescribed Qualification. (100%)
