Job Overview

The Punjab Police Department invites applications from suitable female candidates domiciled in Punjab for the position of Lady Constable, specifically for deployment in the Special Protection Unit (SPU). This is a uniformed service position aimed at strengthening law enforcement capacity in the province.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Domicile: Must possess the domicile certificate of the relevant district in Punjab and a CNIC.
• Age: 18 to 22 years (as per government policy, age relaxation might apply under specific rules, check official notification).
• Height: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches.
• Education: Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation) with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
• Running Test: Must qualify a 1.6 KM run within 10 minutes.

Quota Information

A 15% quota is reserved for women across relevant positions as per government policy.

Application Process

1. Download the Application Form from the official Punjab Police website: http://punjabpolice.gov.pk.
2. Submit the completed application form along with attested copies of required documents (educational certificates, domicile, CNIC, photos) and a non-refundable fee of Rs. 300/-.
3. Applications must be submitted between 28 April 2025 and 12 May 2025 during office hours at the respective District Police Lines.
4. Government employees must apply through the proper channel (NOC required).
5. Candidates can apply for only one specific post category mentioned in the advertisement.
6. Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will undergo various stages including: Measurement of height, Chest (not applicable for females), Running test, Written examination, and Interview. Final selection is subject to passing all stages and medical fitness. Verification of character and documents will be conducted. Providing false information or engaging in misconduct during recruitment can lead to disqualification and legal action.
