Job Overview

The Punjab Police Department is recruiting male Constables (BPS-07 assumed) for various specialized units including the Dolphin Squad, Special Protection Unit (SPU), and as Traffic Assistants. Applications are invited from candidates holding domicile of the relevant districts in Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

• Domicile: Must hold the domicile certificate of the relevant district in Punjab and possess a CNIC.
• Age: 18 to 22 years (age relaxation rules may apply as per government policy, confirm from official sources).
• Height: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches.
• Chest: Minimum 33 inches (normal) and 34.5 inches (expanded). Applicable to male candidates only.
• Education: Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Board.
• Running Test: Must qualify a 1.6 KM run within 7 minutes.

Quota Information

Quotas for minorities (5%) and ex-servicemen (10%) will be applicable as per government rules. Maximum age for ex-servicemen is 40 years, subject to conditions.

Application Process

1. Application forms are available for download on the Punjab Police website: http://punjabpolice.gov.pk.
2. Completed application forms with attested copies of necessary documents (educational certificates, domicile, CNIC, photos, etc.) and a fee of Rs. 300/- must be submitted.
3. The submission period is from 28 April 2025 to 12 May 2025 at the relevant District Police Lines during office hours.
4. Serving government employees need to apply through proper channel with an NOC.
5. Candidates must choose one specific post category to apply for.
6. Late or incomplete applications will be rejected.

Selection Procedure

The selection process involves multiple stages: Physical measurements (height, chest), Running test, Written test, and Interview. Successful candidates will undergo medical examination. Background and document verification are mandatory. Any misrepresentation or use of unfair means will lead to disqualification and potential legal action.
