Applications are invited from differently abled persons under the 5% quota, holding Domicile of District Mirpurkhas, for the vacant position of Khalasi (BPS-02) at the office of the Executive Engineer Drainage Division Mirpurkhas. There is one (1) vacant post available for this position.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum required qualification for the Khalasi position is Primary Pass. Applicants must be aged between 18 and 28 years. Applicable relaxation in the upper age limit will be granted as per Sindh Government Rules. Candidates must possess a Domicile certificate from Mirpurkhas district. Furthermore, applicants must submit a valid Certificate of Disability. This certificate must be issued by either the Boards constituted by the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled persons (PCRDP) under the Sindh Empowerment of persons with Disability Act-2018 or by the Civil Surgeon of Mirpurkhas District.

Terms and Conditions

This position is offered on a purely temporary basis initially, with the likelihood of becoming permanent following the successful completion of the probationary period. The service can be terminated during the probation period with one month's notice.

Candidates currently employed in Government Service must apply through the proper official channel. Any attempt to influence the selection process (canvassing) will result in disqualification. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are shortlisted will be invited for a test/interview. The successful candidate will be posted at the designated place of work. No expenses (TA/DA) will be reimbursed for attending the test/interview.

To apply, candidates must submit their application form along with attested photocopies of all relevant documents, including academic qualifications, CNIC, Domicile, PRC, two recent passport-size photographs, and the mandatory Certificate of Disability.

Applications must be dispatched via registered Courier only, addressed to the office of the Executive Engineer Drainage Division, Mirpurkhas. If an individual wishes to apply for both Beldar and Khalasi posts, separate applications are required for each.

Applications that are incomplete or received after the deadline will be rejected. The final date for the submission of applications is 12 May, 2025.
