Job Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities

Esevel is seeking a motivated Junior/Mid Level Backend Developer to join their team. This remote role offers a great opportunity to grow your skills. Key responsibilities include:

• Learning the basics of the Esevel platform and its functions.
• Participating in daily team discussions to understand project functionality and enhance collaboration skills.
• Developing additional features for the platform, while simultaneously learning about new Laravel features and improving coding skills.
• Collaborating with other developers in code reviews, learning from mistakes, and improving coding ethics and workflows used by the team.
• Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and performance issues in existing code, while learning code optimization techniques.
• Utilizing best practices to ensure a scalable and manageable codebase, especially in large projects.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, completed between January 2023 and December 2023.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in developing at least one Laravel project.
• Your current or most recent project worked on should be Laravel based.
• A basic understanding of REST API, Eloquent, and other Laravel features.
• Basic knowledge of design patterns and why they are used.
• Basic knowledge of at least one Database system like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Good Communication skills: Should be able to converse freely in English.
• Problem-solving skills: able to use all possible resources to find solutions to problems.
