Sindh Institute of Child Health & Neonatology (SICHN), a Government of Sindh entity in Karachi (Act 2018), is enhancing its digital capabilities and seeks talented Software Developers. Preference is given to candidates domiciled in Sindh.

Role Overview

The Software Developer will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications, potentially including Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) or related tools.

Contract Details

This position is offered on an initial one-year contract, with potential for extension based on project needs and individual performance.

Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Proven post-qualification experience in software development using relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, .NET, Python, PHP) and databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) is essential. Experience in healthcare IT is a plus.
