Job Overview

KOEN AJ&K is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Engineer (E&I) to join our team at the Gulpur Hydropower Plant, located in Barali, Kotli, Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the technical teams in maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational activities related to electrical and instrumentation systems. Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Junior Engineer E&I will be tasked with the following duties:

• Assisting technical teams with routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities.
• Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of various electrical equipment.
• Working with protection system relays and conducting coordination studies.
• Demonstrating proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic and function block diagrams.
• Showing familiarity with SCADA systems and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) design.
• Possessing a strong understanding of control system architectures and communication protocols.

Eligibility Criteria and Application Process

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of industrial experience. Experience in hydropower plants will be given preference.
• Skills: Proficiency in Electrical Equipment, PLC, Control Systems, and Protection Systems.
• Communication: Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams.
