Position Details

SEPCO is offering 26 positions for Junior Engineers. The vacancies are distributed as follows:

Qualifications Required

Candidates must possess a B.E / B.Sc Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronic discipline with a 1st Division (minimum 60% marks). The degree must be from an HEC recognized university, and candidates must have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Age Requirement

The required age for applicants is between 25 and 33 years. General age relaxation has already been incorporated into this range. However, additional relaxation of three (03) years is applicable for candidates from Scheduled Castes, Buddhists, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, and AJK residents. Government servants and serving employees with two (02) years of continuous service by the closing date can claim age relaxation as per rules, provided they apply through the proper channel.

Nature of Employment

These positions are offered on a purely contractual basis for an initial period of one year. Employment is non-pensionable and based on a lump sum package. There are no provisions for long-term benefits or regularization. Contract extension is possible based on satisfactory performance and the company's requirements and policies.

3. Upload necessary documents: CNIC (front and back), Domicile, PRC/Form-D, one recent photograph, and all academic transcripts/degrees showing percentage marks.
4. After submitting the online form, download the system-generated challan for Rs. 700/-.
5. Pay the non-refundable application fee at any branch of ABL Bank Ltd, via the MyABL mobile app, or through the 1Bill reference number using internet banking of any 1Bill-linked bank.
6. Candidates with disabilities must upload a CNIC issued by NADRA featuring the wheelchair logo.
7. Ensure you meet all eligibility criteria; candidates awaiting results are not eligible.
8. Apply for only one post. Incomplete applications or those with misrepresented facts will be disqualified.
9. The final date for online application submission and fee payment is May 20, 2025.

Selection and General Conditions

Only candidates who are shortlisted will be invited for the test/interview.
The recruitment test will be conducted by SIBA Testing Services (STS) in major cities including Islamabad, Karachi, and Sukkur. Candidates must select their preferred test center during the online application.
A minimum score of 50% is required to pass the MCQ-based written test. However, passing the test does not guarantee employment.
Information regarding the test date and venue will be communicated via SMS and published on the STS website/portal.
Candidates previously dismissed from service, debarred, or having a criminal record are ineligible.
No travel allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for attending the test or interview.
SEPCO reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without providing a reason.
