Information Officer

Job Overview

The Secretariat of the Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu & Kashmir seeks an Information Officer (Grade 17) for a permanent role based in Muzaffarabad. The position involves handling information dissemination and media-related tasks for the assembly.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must have one of the following:
a) Master's degree in Journalism from a recognized University; OR
b) Graduate with diploma in Journalism and 5 years experience in the relevant field.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old. Age relaxation up to 40 years for government servants applies.

Submit applications with attested copies of CNIC, State Subject Certificate, educational/diploma certificates, experience certificate, and two recent photos to the Deputy Secretary (Admin), Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Muzaffarabad by 20 May 2025.
Government servants must apply through their respective departments.
Interview Date & Time: 27 May 2025 at 10:00 AM.
No TA/DA will be admissible.
