Project Overview

The Labour & Human Resource Department, Government of the Punjab, intends to recruit qualified and experienced manpower under an ADP scheme entitled 'Establishment of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Laboratory at Faisalabad (Pilot)'. Applications from suitable candidates domiciled in Punjab for a Project Management Unit (PMU) on a contract basis are required for promoting occupational health & safety at workplace.

Role Summary

The Industrial Hygienist will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety standards are met through inspection, testing, monitoring, and audits within the scope of the OSH Laboratory project.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: M.S. Chemistry, Occupational Safety and Health or Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from a HEC recognized University/ Institute.
• Experience: Relevant experience of training, work environment inspection, assessment of hazards and reporting and testing & monitoring, safety audits.
• Age Limit: 30-35 years.
• Pay Scale: PPS-7

Recruitment will be made under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004 (amended updated), on a contract basis. The government employees should apply through proper channel.
Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview. The attested copies of CNIC, educational qualifications, marks obtained in each examination, experience certificates and domicile etc. along with original documents must accompany the applicant at the time of interview.
