The office of the Executive Engineer, Mandi Bahauddin Canal Division, has announced a vacancy for the position of Imam Masjid. This is a temporary, work-charge appointment for the financial year 2025-26. The ideal candidate should be a qualified religious scholar (Alim Fazil) and a resident of Punjab. This role involves leading prayers and performing other religious duties as required by the department.

Eligibility Criteria and Conditions

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: Must be literate (Alim Fazil).
• Residency: Must be a resident of Punjab province and possess a domicile certificate.
• Preference will be given to retired employees of the Punjab Irrigation Department and their children.
• The appointment is purely temporary (work-charge) for the fiscal year 2025-26 and does not confer any right to permanent employment.
• The candidate can be terminated without any prior notice.
• Recruitment will be conducted as per the policy of the Government of Punjab.
