Job Overview
Applications are invited for the position of Heritage Impact Assessor by the Directorate General of Archaeology, Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department, Government of the Punjab. This role is part of the ADP project 'Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology' and is based in Lahore. The position is temporary and project-specific.Key Responsibilities
The Heritage Impact Assessor will be responsible for evaluating the potential impact of development projects on heritage sites and monuments. This includes conducting assessments, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with heritage laws and regulations. Experience in conservation and restoration of heritage sites is highly valued.Qualifications and Experience
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC recognized University. Registration with PEC is required. A master's degree or certification in Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) is desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in the related field, preferably in the Heritage Impact Assessment & Conservation/restoration of heritage sites & monuments. Knowledge of Heritage laws and regulations in Pakistan is essential.
- Age Limit: 25-35 years.
- Salary: Rs. 190,000/- per month (PPS & Salary, on lump-sum basis including all allowances, with annual increment according to government notification).
Conditions
