Role Overview

The National Economic Transformation & 5 Es Unit, part of the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, requires a Head of Support Unit. This position, based in Islamabad (Project Scale: PPS-11), is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the unit through effective support services.

Key Responsibilities

The Head of Support Unit will be responsible for leading, managing, and ensuring the efficient delivery of all administrative, financial, procurement, analytics, and logistical support services across the National Economic Transformation Unit. This role demands strong leadership in support services, the ability to work collaboratively with technical and strategic teams, and proven competence in managing multidisciplinary functions within large-scale development programmes.

Qualifications and Experience

Option 1: PhD (Public Administration /Business Administration/ Management/ Finance, or a related field) from a reputed HEC recognized National / International University with ten (10) years' professional experience, including 03 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within a large project or organization.
OR
Option 2: Masters (Public Administration /Business Administration/ Management/ Finance, or a related field) from a reputed HEC recognized National / International University with fourteen (14) years' professional experience, including 5 years' experience similar leadership role, preferably within a large project or organization.
Age Limit: Maximum 62 years on the closing date of application.
Contract Duration: 03 years (extendable based on satisfactory performance).
