Brief Job Description

The Head of Compliance will develop and lead EXIM Bank's compliance strategy to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory obligations. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage bank-wide compliance policies, particularly K.Y.C., A.M.L., C.F.T., and Proliferation Financing, ensuring they meet State Bank of Pakistan's requirements and global best practices.
• Establish standards and procedures to prevent, detect, and address noncompliance.
• Review internal policies, product programmes, S.O.Ps, and marketing content to ensure compliance.
• Promote a proactive compliance culture, monitor regulatory updates, and liaise with SBP and other regulators.
• Provide compliance-related training to employees, manage compliance risks, and ensure timely reporting.
• Develop a Trade-Based Money Laundering framework and guide the team in mitigating risks.
• Develop and maintain an updated inventory of regulations.
• Represent the Compliance function in meetings with the board and other stakeholders.
• Execute any other tasks as directed by the C.E.O. & President.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or other relevant fields from a leading local or international university recognised by the Higher Education Commission (H.E.C.) of Pakistan.

Experience

Minimum 10 (ten) years of relevant work experience in/with a bank(s)/Development Finance Institution(s) in Pakistan with Minimum 4 (four) years of senior management/leadership compliance experience in/with a bank(s)/Development Finance Institution(s) in Pakistan.

Job Type

Permanent (subject to successful completion of Probationary Period).
