This esteemed position for a Head Business Department is open at Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), a 'AAA' rated renowned specialized financial institution. As the Head Business Department, you will be instrumental in driving the strategic objectives of ZTBL's Islamic Banking division from its Head Office in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility for this Head Business Department job is to lead the marketing of Islamic Banking products and services. You will be tasked with achieving business targets and ancillary Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by engaging actively with Regional and Branch Management. A strong focus will be placed on customer growth, maintaining portfolio quality, and enhancing revenue performance. Specific duties include:

• Following up on booking of assets and liabilities, based on KPIs of ancillary banking services.
• Preparing and implementing business development plans to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
• Identifying and pursuing cross-selling opportunities for Islamic Banking products and services.
• Promoting the ZTBL Islamic Banking brand awareness and creating a better understanding within and outside the organization.
• Conducting gap analysis for existing and new Branches/Windows, and processes. Preparing and reviewing periodic performance of all IB branches and windows.
• Focusing on the delivery of quality services through Regional Management in the branches, while effectively targeting objectives and adhering to corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines.
• Performing any other task assigned by the Management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates applying for the Head Business Department role must possess a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in Islamic Banking. A strong understanding of the Islamic financial sector is crucial for success in this role. Educational requirements include a minimum Bachelor's degree from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized Institute or University, whether National or International. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in business administration, finance, or a related field, coupled with extensive experience in the banking sector.
