Job Overview

The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat, Health Department, invites applications from eligible candidates/Doctors for hiring their services as Gynaecologists on a PPS basis through walk-in interviews. This opportunity is part of the project titled 'APPOINTMENT OF 07 NOS GYNECOLOGIST IN PPS-12 (02 EACH DIAMER AND GHANCHE AND 01 EACH IN ASTORE, SHIGAR, KHARMANG, AND HUNZA/NAGAR)'.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess:
i) MBBS or equivalent qualification from a university/institute recognized and registered by the PM & DC.
ii) PM & DC Level-II (a) or (b)/ Level-III or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject/specialty recognized by the PM & DC.
iii) Clinical experience of 03 years with Level-II OR 02 years with Level-III in the relevant specialty/field.

A total of 06 posts are available at the following locations:
1. DHQ Hospital Khaplu - 01
2. DHQ Hospital Gahkuch - 01
3. DHQ Hospital Hunza - 01
4. DHQ Hospital Nagar - 01
5. DHQ Hospital Shigar - 01
6. DHQ Hospital Kharmang - 01

Domicile and Age Limit

The positions are open merit. However, preference will be given to candidates having the domicile of Gilgit-Baltistan. The maximum age limit for this position is 50 years.

Salary and Contract Terms

The pay package for Specialists doctors (qualified) shall be Rs. 500,000/- per month for all duty stations. The hiring will be made purely on a fixed pay basis for a period of one year. In case no extension is granted on expiry of the first year, the contract will stand terminated automatically. The doctors hired will have no right to claim regularization of their services.

Interested candidates fulfilling the required qualifications must submit their application along with one set of attested photocopies of all documents including domicile, CNIC, academic certificates, experience certificates, and valid Permanent registration with PM & DC. Mention an active cell number.
Applications must be submitted in the name of Secretary Health Gilgit-Baltistan office at New Secretariat Jutial, Gilgit till 8th May 2025. Candidates who do not submit the attested copies of all relevant documents will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
The walk-in interviews of the candidates shall be held on 14th May, 2025 at 10:30 AM.
Govt. employees should submit their application through the proper channel.
