Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

Taraki is looking for a dedicated Full-Stack Engineer to join their team, with a significant focus on front-end development. In this remote role based out of Karāchi, Sindh, Pakistan, you will collaborate closely with our founders and the engineering team. Your primary responsibilities will involve building new features, enhancing user experiences, and contributing to the strategic direction of our startup.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Engineer at Taraki, your duties will encompass a range of critical tasks:

• Lead Development Efforts: You will own the engineering process from the design phase through to the deployment of critical features and projects.
• Frontend & Backend Work: Responsibilities include building and maintaining our Next.js front end and Django back end. This involves ensuring clean, maintainable code, as well as implementing and optimizing GraphQL endpoints, with a particular focus on upcoming Stripe integration projects.
• AWS & Docker: You will leverage AWS services and Docker to create and manage reliable, scalable deployments.
• Establish Best Practices: A key part of the role is to improve our basic CI/CD and testing frameworks, ensuring high code quality and reliability across our platforms.
• Collaboration & Leadership: You will work closely with the CEO, CTO, and the engineering team to drive technical strategy and ensure the timely delivery of features.
• Startup Mindset: We require an individual who can adapt quickly to evolving requirements, take ownership of challenges, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
