Forest Guard (BPS-9)

Job Overview

The Forest Department, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, is seeking applications from eligible individuals for 46 permanent positions of Forest Guard (BPS-9) within the Darel Tangir Forest Division. Candidates must belong to the Darel Tangir Sub-Division. These appointments are aimed at strengthening the forest protection and management efforts in the region.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in the relevant field is required.
• Age Limit: Candidates should be between 20 and 28 years old. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government policy.
• Domicile: Darel Tangir Sub-Division.

Terms and Conditions

1. All appointments will be made on merit and as per the approval from the Government of Balochistan Cabinet Division vide letter No. DSC-Admin-3/2020/Cabine and the Forest, Wildlife & Environment Department vide letter No. FW&E-2(4)/F/2024 dated March 4, 2025, under Business dated March 25, 2025.
2. Upper age limit relaxation will be granted according to government policy.
3. Preference will be given to contract/paid employees of Darel Tangir Forest Division appointed before 30/06/2016, whose services were terminated due to the Supreme Court of Pakistan's judgment and whose names are included in the seniority list. Their upper age limit will be determined as per the prevailing policy.
4. Government employees should apply through their respective departments.
5. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
6. Quotas for women, minorities, and disabled persons will be observed as per rules.
7. Candidates must submit attested copies of their educational degrees/diplomas, experience certificates, domicile, and CNIC to the concerned office of the department within 20 days of the advertisement's publication.
8. The posting can be anywhere within the Darel Tangir Forest Division, which includes offices in Darel, Tangir, Kineri, and Zooey ODF.

Interested candidates fulfilling the criteria should submit their applications along with attested copies of all relevant documents (educational certificates, experience certificate, domicile, CNIC) to the Office of the Conservator of Forests, Diamer Astore Circle, Chilas. The deadline for submission of applications is 24 June, 2025. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained. Ensure your application is complete to avoid rejection.
