Organization Overview

The Urban Unit, a key entity under the Planning & Development Board, Government of Punjab, is committed to enhancing urban living through sustainable projects. They need competent managers to lead field operations.

Role Summary

The Field Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of project activities in designated field areas. This includes overseeing field staff (like Survey Supervisors and Mobilizers), ensuring operational efficiency, managing logistics, and reporting progress to the Divisional Manager.

Key Responsibilities (Illustrative)

• Manage and supervise field teams and operations within an assigned area.
• Ensure timely execution of field activities according to project plans.
• Coordinate logistics and resource deployment for field staff.
• Monitor performance and ensure quality standards are met in field operations.
• Address operational challenges and report issues promptly.
• Compile and submit regular field activity reports.

Qualifications (General Requirements)

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Management, Engineering, Social Sciences, Urban Planning) is usually required. Proven experience (e.g., 3-5 years) in field operations management, team supervision, or project implementation is essential. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are needed.
