The Health Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is actively seeking qualified individuals for the position of Emergency Care Technologist (BPS-16). This role is integral to the Project Management and Implementation Unit (PMIU)'s efforts to revamp Non-Teaching DHQ Hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The appointment is contractual, initially for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and satisfactory performance. Emergency Care Technologists will play a crucial part in providing and managing urgent medical services, thereby strengthening the regional healthcare system.Qualifications and Experience
To be eligible for the Emergency Care Technologist position, candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Emergency Care Technology, with a preference for specialization in surgical care, from a university or institution recognized by the HEC. A minimum of 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience in Emergency Care Services is also mandatory. This requirement ensures that applicants have practical exposure and expertise in critical care environments, which is vital for the demands of this role within DHQ Hospitals.Terms and Conditions
Applicants must be eligible and bona fide residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, holding the relevant domicile. The employment is on a contractual basis for one year, which may be extended as per existing government policy. A lump sum pay package will be offered where applicable. Age relaxation will be granted in accordance with prevailing government rules. Those currently employed in government or semi-government sectors must apply through the proper official channels to avoid disqualification.Application Procedure
Interested candidates should visit the ETEA website at www.etea.edu.pk to submit their online application. After providing personal details, an online deposit slip will be generated, which includes a token number and project code. This slip must be printed, and the non-refundable test fee should be deposited using the Easy-Paisa app, Jazz Cash App, or at any UBL bank through an OMNI agent. It is essential to retain the original stamped deposit slip; candidates should not send any documents or testimonials to the ETEA office at this stage. Copies of testimonials will only be required from candidates who qualify for the screening test, as and when requested by ETEA or the appointing authority for scrutiny. The online application facility will be available from 01 September, 2025, with the final submission deadline set for 20 September, 2025. Test dates, times, and venues will be communicated via Roll No. Slip, which candidates can download from the ETEA website after receiving an SMS notification.
