Economic Analyst

Introduction

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is offering dynamic career opportunities for young, energetic, and talented candidates as Economic Analysts (OG-02) under the 7th batch of the Economic Analyst Training Scheme (EATS). These positions are exclusively based in Karachi, providing a challenging and rewarding professional environment in areas such as Monetary Policy, Economic Policy Review, and Research.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a 16-year education degree (Masters or Bachelors or equivalent) in Economics from an HEC-recognized Pakistani or foreign institution. A minimum of 60% marks in the annual system or a 2.5 CGPA out of 4.0 (or 3.5 out of 5.0) in the semester system is required. Foreign degree holders must provide an HEC equivalence certificate.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 26 years as of August 30, 2026. A 3-age relaxation of 3 years is admissible for female candidates, transgenders, minorities, and candidates belonging to Northern Areas, Balochistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and erstwhile FATA.
