Role Overview

As part of the World Bank-assisted GRADES project, the ECE Specialist will play a key role in strategies and activities aimed at enhancing Early Childhood Education (ECE) access and quality in Punjab's public schools. The goal is to improve foundational learning outcomes for young children.

Qualifications

Education: At least a Master's degree or equivalent (sixteen years of education) in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a relevant discipline from a foreign or local university, duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Experience

Requirements:

• At least five (05) years of documentary verifiable relevant experience after acquiring stipulated qualifications.
• Experience in public and/or private sector national/international organizations for early grades.
• Experience in project coordination and implementation of large-scale government or donor-funded programs.
• Experience working in the Education sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of the public sector and broader educational challenges in Punjab.
