Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

As the Documentation Officer (PPS-7), your key responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining a comprehensive documentation system for the project. You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, archiving, and retrieving all project-related documents, including technical reports, progress reports, financial records, and correspondence. Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of all documentation, as well as preparing summaries and presentations as required, will also be part of your duties.

Candidates for this Documentation Officer job in Lahore must possess a minimum of 16 years of education (equivalent to a Master's degree) in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university. A minimum of 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience in documentation management, record-keeping, or project support is required. The maximum age limit for applicants is 40 years. An initial salary of Rs. 200,000 per month will be offered, with annual increments based on performance.

Applicants must submit both online and hard copies, otherwise, their application will be considered incomplete. For males, a 5-year age relaxation is applicable, and for females, an 8-year age relaxation is applicable as per Government of Punjab S&GAD Notification No. SORl(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 08-08-2016. In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel and submit an NOC from their parent departments. Each post requires a separate application. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests/interviews via email or contact number, with no TA/DA admissible. The selection committee's decision will be final, and the competent authority reserves the right to cancel recruitment at any time without prior notice. Selected candidates will have no claim for permanent appointment.
