About the Role
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is inviting applications for the critical position of Director (Finance & Revenue) in Islamabad. This role, offered on a two-year contract basis with potential for extension, is essential for managing CDA's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and revenue generation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial stability and compliance, as well as developing strategies for optimizing revenue streams within the authority.Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold a professional qualification such as Chartered Accountancy (CA), ACCA, ACMA, or an equivalent designation. Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree (1st class) in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or Accounting from a recognized institution are eligible. The experience requirement varies based on qualification: seven (07) years of experience in a responsible position for CA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent holders, and twelve (12) years of experience in a responsible position for Master's degree holders. This experience must be gained in the relevant field within a government organization, a reputable public or private sector entity, or a firm. Preference will be given to candidates with a higher degree or specialized certifications in finance and revenue management.Age and General Conditions
The age limit for this position is set at 40 years, with an allowance for relaxation up to 45 years, to attract highly experienced financial professionals. The appointment will be on a contractual basis for an initial period of two years, with the possibility of extension based on performance and the needs of the organization. Only candidates who are shortlisted based on their qualifications and experience will be invited for further selection processes, which may include written tests and interviews. All candidates are required to present their original educational and experience certificates, along with attested copies, during the interview for verification. Government sector employees must ensure they have a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current department before applying. Please note that no Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for participation in the selection process.Application Process

The last date for the submission of applications is 29 July, 2025. A non-refundable and non-transferable application processing fee of Rs. 2000/- is mandatory for each post applied for. This fee can be paid online using a QR code via any banking application. Candidates who wish to apply for multiple positions must submit separate application forms and pay the fee for each. Incomplete applications or those received after the stipulated deadline will not be considered.
