Position Overview

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is looking for a highly qualified and experienced finance professional to lead its Finance & Revenue department as Director. This is a key leadership role offered on a contract basis for an initial term of two years. The incumbent will be responsible for all financial planning, revenue management, and accounting functions.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
  • Education: Chartered Accountancy (CA)/ACCA/ACMA or a Master's degree (1st class) in Finance/Commerce/Economics/Accounting or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
  • Experience: Seven (07) years of experience in the case of CA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent, and twelve (12) years of experience in the case of a Master's degree. The experience must be in a responsible position in a government department or a reputed public or private sector organization.
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years (40 + 5 years relaxation).
Preference will be given to candidates with a higher degree in the relevant field.

General Instructions

  • The CDA reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or change the number of posts.
  • The appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial period of two years.
  • Only shortlisted candidates who meet the criteria will be called for a written test/interview.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.
  • Candidates must bring original documents (educational, experience certificates) and attested copies at the time of the interview.
  • Applicants currently serving in government organizations must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) with their application.

4. Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate application forms and a separate application fee for each post.
5. An application processing fee of Rs. 2000/- (non-refundable and non-transferrable) is required for each post. The fee must be submitted online using the QR code generated upon successful submission of the application, payable via any banking app.
