Deputy Project Director (PPS-09)

Project Overview and Job Purpose

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training is seeking eligible candidates for the role of Deputy Project Director (PPS-09). This position is part of the project titled 'Establishment of Daanish Schools at Azad Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan'. The posts will be filled purely on a contract basis as per the project pay package admissible for the PSDP-funded Project staff. Initially, the contract will be awarded for a period of one (01) year, which can be further extended annually upon satisfactory performance, till the life of the projects.

Number of Positions and Locations

There are a total of 05 positions available for Deputy Project Director, distributed on merit in the following districts:

• 01. Sultanabad, GB
• 02. Ghanche, GB
• 03. Astore, GB
• 04. Herighel-Bagh, AJK
• 05. Bhimber, AJK

Selected candidates will be posted in their respective districts.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered for this role:

• Qualification in Project Management / Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in relevant fields.

The completed application form must be submitted to the undersigned within 15 days from the date of advertisement.

• No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
• Candidates called for an interview will have to bring their original documents along with two attested copies of academic/testimonials/experience certificate(s), Degrees, CNIC copy, two photographs, and professional experience certificate.
• Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
• The cutoff date for determining the eligibility of the candidate in terms of age, qualification, experience, etc., will be the closing date of receipt of applications.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process, increase or decrease the number of posts as per requirement against any post at any stage without assigning any reason.
