Project Overview

The Finance Division is undertaking a major Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) for the Modernization & Up-gradation of Pakistan Mint, Lahore Phase-II(A). To lead this initiative, they are hiring a qualified Deputy Project Director (Electrical) on a contract basis. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of the project's electrical engineering aspects.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following stringent criteria to be considered for this role:
  • Education: A B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a university recognized by HEC/PEC.
  • Registration: Must be a registered engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Public Sector or a reputed organization. Out of the total experience, a minimum of 3 years must be in a Public Sector Organization.
  • Age Limit: The maximum age for applicants is 50 years.

Terms of Appointment

The appointment will be made on the following terms:
  • The selection will be purely on merit and on a contract basis.
  • The initial contract period is for two years, which may be extended until the completion of the project based on yearly performance evaluation.
  • The position offers a standard pay package (PPS-8) as defined by the Finance Division.
  • Selected candidates will be required to serve at the project location in Lahore.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for the interview or for joining the post.
