Institute Overview

Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST), a public sector chartered, degree-awarding institute established as a project of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, seeks potential applicants for its IT department. The institute aims to create a high-quality technical education infrastructure based on the slogan of 'Skilling Pakistan'.

Position Details

PAF-IAST is looking for a Deputy Manager IT to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will contribute to the IT department's operations and infrastructure development.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Option 1: 1st Division MS/MPhil in IT/Computer Science with 05 years' relevant experience in an HEC recognized University/Institution or any Government or Semi Government national organization in BPS-17 and equivalent in special pay scales or above.
OR
Option 2: 1st Division BS (16 years of education) in IT/Computer Sciences with 07 years relevant experience in an HEC recognized University/Institution or any Government or Semi Government national organization in BPS-17 and equivalent in special pay scales or above.
Age Limit: Max age 40 years till the closing date.

Terms and Conditions

The position is offered on a contract basis.
Selection will be governed by the Statutes and Regulations of the Institute.
Candidates currently serving in Government, Semi Government, and Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel.
Individuals dismissed from service or convicted by a Court of Law are not eligible.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. No TA/DA will be paid.
