Project and Role Overview

The Government of Pakistan, through the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), has received financing from the World Bank for the Pakistan Raises Revenue Program (PRRP). As part of this program, the FBR is procuring the services of an individual consultant for the position of Deputy Manager Finance. This is a key role that involves providing financial, administrative, and grants management oversight for a project of national importance and complexity.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates interested in this position must meet the following criteria:
  • Qualifications: Must be a CA Finalist, ACMA/ACCA, or hold a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • Experience: A minimum of eight (08) years of relevant experience in the discipline is required. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in providing financial, administrative, and grants management oversight for international organizations with similar complexity.
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience in developing and managing large-scale financial and administrative systems. Excellent logical, interpersonal, communication (both oral and written), and analytical skills are essential. The candidate must have hands-on experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and be proficient in making plans, policies, and procedures. The ability to work independently and as a team player who demonstrates leadership is crucial.
