Key Responsibilities and Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess a strong command over core accounting functions and financial management. Key responsibilities include demonstrating strong knowledge of financial statistics, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and robust accounting principles. Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll management, invoicing, costing, and purchasing processes is essential. The role also requires proven experience in handling monthly closings, preparing comprehensive financial statements, and conducting statutory audits. Proficiency in reconciliations, including AP, AR, and stocks, coupled with accurate voucher postings, is critical for this position. Furthermore, the ability to work effectively with ERP systems such as ERPNext, Oracle, or similar platforms is a prerequisite.

Qualifications and Required Skills

To be considered for this Deputy Manager Accounts position, applicants must be a CA Finalist or ACCA qualified professional. A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant post-articles experience within a manufacturing environment is mandatory. Beyond technical expertise, candidates are expected to exhibit strong leadership qualities, excellent teamwork capabilities, effective communication skills, and proven competence in conflict management.
