Deputy Legal Advisor

Job Overview

Applications are invited for filling up the post of Deputy Legal Advisor (MP-II) under the provisions of MP Scale Policy 2020. This government position is initially for a period of three (03) years, which is further extendable for a maximum period of two (02) years on an annual basis subject to satisfactory performance.

Qualification and Experience

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Ph.D. in Law with 05 years professional experience/practice in the High Court/Supreme Court of Pakistan, OR
• Masters in Law with 07 years' experience/practice in the High Court/Supreme Court of Pakistan.
• Preference will be given to candidates dealing with service matters of Govt. / Corporation employees.
• Maximum Age: 62 years.

Responsibilities of Deputy Legal Advisor

The Deputy Legal Advisor shall assist the Legal Advisor in performance of all duties and undertake functions assigned, including the preparation of documents, providing legal opinions on different cases, and representing the Establishment Division as a Departmental Representative in various Courts.
