Job Overview

The Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat, Establishment Division, Islamabad has announced an opening for the position of Deputy Legal Advisor (MP-II). This position is offered under the MP Scale Policy 2020 initially for a period of three years, extendable for a maximum period of two years on an annual basis subject to satisfactory performance. Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualification and experience requirements:

• Ph.D. in Law with 05 years professional experience/practice in the High Court or Supreme Court of Pakistan; OR
• Masters in Law with 07 years' experience/practice in the High Court or Supreme Court of Pakistan.
• Preference will be given to candidates dealing with service matters of Government or Corporation employees.
• Age Requirement: Maximum 62 years.

Job Responsibilities

The selected Deputy Legal Advisor will be responsible for assisting the Legal Advisor in the performance of all duties. Duties include undertaking assigned functions such as the preparation of documents, providing legal opinions on various cases, and representing the Establishment Division as a Departmental Representative in various courts.
