Deputy Director Technical

Role Overview

The Karachi Mobility Project, under the Sindh Mass Transit Authority, invites applications for the post of Deputy Director Technical. This is a senior-level position on a one-year contract, extendable based on performance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the technical management and supervision of the project. Responsibilities include overseeing construction, project design, planning, and contract administration to ensure the project meets its objectives and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC recognized university. A higher qualification in Transport Engineering will be considered an added advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant post-qualification experience in construction, project design, planning, and contract administration.
• Registration: Must be a registered member of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
