Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) is Pakistan's leading public sector utility serving the people of Karachi metropolitan area. KW&SC is responsible for ensuring clean, safe drinking water and sewerage services. Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting: Assist in consolidation of accounts from all KW&SC field offices and departments. Ensure maintenance of books of accounts and review monthly, quarterly and annual accounts.
Budget & Fund Management: Assist in managing KW&SC's fund accounts and operational finances. Support CFO in formulation, execution, monitoring and reporting of annual budgets.
Bank Operations & Reconciliation: Supervise bank transactions, cheque processing, online transfers, and approval documentation. Timely reconciliation of all bank accounts.
Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Sindh Government financial instructions, KW&SC Fund rules, and applicable laws.
Audit Coordination: Facilitate internal, external, government, and special audits. Resolution of audit paras and coordination in providing financial records.
Procurement & Financial Approvals: Verify financial impact of procurement proposals, contracts, and bids.
Team Supervision & Capacity Building: Provide guidance on accounting practices, financial discipline, and government compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• CA / ACMA / ACCA / MBA Finance / M.Com / equivalent finance, accounting qualification from HEC recognized institute.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in financial management, accounting, finance, budgeting or audit management.
• Expertise in bank reconciliation and public sector financial processes.
• Strong command on financial reporting and accounting systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, ERP / Oracle / SAP.
