Position Overview
The Government of Sindh's Health Department is inviting applications for 27 posts of Dental Surgeon (BS-17). Successful candidates will be appointed to government health facilities across Sindh to provide essential dental care services to the public. This includes diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of dental and oral diseases. To be eligible for the Dental Surgeon position, candidates must have:- Qualification: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from a university recognized by the HEC.
- Registration: Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
- Experience: No prior post-qualification experience is mentioned as a requirement.
Vacancy Distribution and Age
- Total Vacancies: 27
- Quota: The posts are distributed among Open Merit (23), Minority Quota (02), and Disabled Quota (02), with further allocation for Rural and Urban domiciles.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old.
Application Process via SPSC
Interested candidates must apply online through the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) portal. The application procedure is as follows:1. Visit the official SPSC website at www.spsc.gov.pk and complete the online application form. Candidates will need to register on the portal first.
2. After filling out the form, download the system-generated challan for the application fee of Rs. 500/-.
3. Deposit the fee in the designated bank before the deadline.
4. Ensure that all personal details, educational qualifications, and registration details are correctly entered.
The last date for online application submission is July 4, 2025. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
