Job Overview

The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination invites applications for two positions of Database Officer (PPS-7) for its National Health Support Project (NHSP). These are contract-based positions for a duration of 1 year, up to 30th June, 2026 (extendable), offering a market-based salary. The roles are based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

The Database Officer will be responsible for data and database management, including:

• Managing and maintaining databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL).
• Performing data analysis, particularly with health data.
• Utilizing database management systems effectively.
• Working with SPSS and Excel for data tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

Eligible candidates for the Database Officer position must possess:

• Education: MS in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Statistics.
• Experience: 5-7 years in Data and database management, proven experience of data analysis having knowledge of Health data and Database management system, and skills of working with databases like MySQL/ Post grads/Oracle/MS SQL. Proven working experience in SPSS/Excel.
