Job Overview

The Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUT) is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to manage and maintain its critical database systems. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of data that supports the hospital's extensive operations, including surgical specialties, oncology, and transplant services. The Database Administrator will be responsible for database design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting, contributing directly to seamless patient care and efficient information management within a 1500-bedded tertiary healthcare teaching organization.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or possess an equivalent certification in Oracle or MS SQL. A minimum of three (03) years of relevant experience in database administration is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a reputable healthcare organization, demonstrating an understanding of the sensitive nature of patient data and the importance of robust database management in a clinical setting.
