The Sindh Institute of Child Health & Neonatology (SICHN), a Government of Sindh hospital in Karachi (Act 2018), relies on robust IT systems. We seek competent IT Officers, preferably domiciled in Sindh.

Role Overview

The IT Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management of IT resources, including network administration, hardware/software installation and maintenance, troubleshooting user issues, managing backups, and ensuring IT security within the institute.

Contract Details

This is a contractual position offered for an initial term of one year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance.

Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Post-qualification experience in IT support, network management, or systems administration is necessary. Experience in a hospital environment and relevant certifications are advantageous.
