Project Overview

National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad, is working on an International Research Grant Proposal. This initiative aims to foster innovation and find impactful solutions to national and global challenges, with a particular focus on the maritime realm and Blue Economy. Applications are invited for various posts on a project basis to support this endeavor.

Role and Responsibilities

Contractors will be engaged to provide specific services or deliverables based on their expertise relevant to the project's objectives. This may include practitioners in fields such as Digital Commercialization, Marine Fisheries, etc. The role requires working in Islamabad and various coastal areas of Pakistan, including Karachi, Sonmiani, Pasni, and Gwadar, demanding mobility.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

• Expertise in Digital Commercialization, Entrepreneurship, Econometrics, Development Economics, GPS based data collection / Remote Sensing, Environmental Sciences, Marine Fisheries, Seafood, Aquaculture and Mari-culture, E-commerce, Ocean Governance.
• Relevant practitioners in these fields are encouraged to apply.

Application Process and Conditions

Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form, which can be downloaded from https://numl.edu.pk/jobs/all. The application form, along with a detailed CV, attested photocopies of all educational documents, professional experience certificates, a copy of CNIC, and two recent photographs, should be sent through courier to the HR Branch, Sector H-9, NUML Islamabad. The application must reach the HR Branch, NUML Islamabad by 20-06-2025. Incomplete applications or applications submitted by hand/email or received after the due date will not be entertained. The decision of the University shall remain final in all cases, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interviews. No TA/DA is admissible.
