Heavy Industries Taxila Board, Taxila Cantonment, operating under the Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Defence Production, invites applications from suitable candidates for the post of 'Consultant Supply Chain Management'. Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree with certification in Supply Chain Management. However, a Master's degree in a relevant discipline will be preferred.
• Minimum five years experience in Supply Chain Management within Defence/Public Sector Organizations at a senior management level.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes and Public Procurement Rules, along with an understanding of international trade, contracts management, and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge and practical experience of supply chain management processes including life cycle management, logistics, warehousing / inventory management, etc.
• Skills to carry out data analysis for forecasting, provisioning, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in implementing sustainable supply chain management practices, optimization strategies, and ERP systems.
• The job involves coordination with Government Ministries, GHQ, CMAs, Customs authorities, and Banks. Relevant experience in this area will be preferred.

Age Limit and Contract Details

• Age Limit: Maximum 55 years (as of the last date of application submission).
• Pay Package: Negotiable.
• Period of Contract: Three years, further extendable to another one year based on performance and requirement.
