Specialist (Ophthalmologist)

Position Overview

Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) Board, under the Ministry of Defence Production, Government of Pakistan, invites applications for the contractual position of Specialist (Ophthalmologist) (BPS-18) based in Taxila Cantt. This is an open merit vacancy available for both civilian and retired armed forces personnel.

Eligibility Criteria (Civilians)

• Qualification: FCPS (Ophthalmology).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience after specialization in a recognized Institute/Hospital.
• Registration: Must be registered with Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
• Age Limit: 25 to 35 years. A general age relaxation of 5 years is admissible.

Eligibility Criteria (Armed Forces Officers)

• Rank/Experience: Lt Col / Major Retd (AMC) classified ophthalmologist specialist.
• Age Limit: Up to 50 years.

Interested candidates meeting the criteria are required to download the application form available at the HIT official website: www.hit.gov.pk. The completed application form, along with attested copies of relevant documents (education, experience, CNIC, domicile, etc.), should be forwarded to the 'Director Administration HIT (Post Code: 47070) Taxila Cantt' within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement. Government servants should apply through the proper channel. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.

Important Notes

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview. Tests/interviews will be held at Heavy Industries Taxila Cantt. No TA/DA will be admissible. Candidates discharged from Government service on disciplinary grounds are ineligible. Providing false/forged information will lead to disqualification at any stage.
