The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is seeking a dedicated and emerging legal professional for the role of Consultant (Legal Affairs). This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain valuable experience in a government regulatory body, contributing to the legal aspects of telecommunications, corporate governance, and civil matters. The consultant will assist in various legal proceedings and advisory tasks.Eligibility Criteria
- Education and Experience (Option 1): Candidates must hold an LL.M. degree (minimum 2nd Division) and possess at least 1 year of experience as an Advocate of the High Court.
- Education and Experience (Option 2): Alternatively, candidates with an LL.B. degree (minimum 2nd Division) and 2 years of experience as an Advocate of the High Court are eligible to apply.
- Additional Experience: For both options, demonstrated experience in managing legal issues related to telecom laws, corporate law, and civil law is necessary. Prior experience as a legal consultant with national and international organizations is also a plus. Furthermore, specific experience related to telecom laws is considered valuable.
Remuneration and Benefits
The selected Consultant will be offered a competitive monthly remuneration package commensurate with market rates, recognizing their qualifications and contributions. Applicable taxes will be deducted in accordance with government regulations. This position is initially offered on a one-year contractual basis, with the possibility of extension depending on satisfactory performance and the Authority's ongoing operational needs.Age Limit
