About the Computer Operator / Draftsman Role

The Rawalpindi Medical University is seeking a qualified Computer Operator / Draftsman (PPS-5) to join their team for the 'Establishment of Post-Graduate Research Laboratories and Allied Facilities' project. This position is offered on a contract basis for the duration of the project's gestation period. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing essential technical and operational support, encompassing both computer operations and drafting tasks, to ensure the smooth progress and successful completion of the project. Key Qualifications and Experience Required

Applicants for the Computer Operator / Draftsman role must hold a BS (16 Years) Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent IT field from an HEC recognized university/institution, with at least a 2nd division. A minimum of 01 year of relevant post-qualification experience is required, specifically demonstrating working knowledge of computer hardware and software. Candidates with a diploma in Draftsman/AutoCAD/3DMax will be highly preferred, indicating expertise in technical drawing and design. Furthermore, proficiency in using MS Office and other related applications is essential for effectively managing documents, data, and communication within the project. The ability to perform basic computer troubleshooting and provide technical support is also an advantage.

Age and Application Process

The maximum age limit for applicants for this Computer Operator / Draftsman position is up to 35 years on the date of appointment.
