Qualification and Experience
Candidates applying for the post of Civilian Medical Officer should possess the following qualifications and experience:- MBBS/FCPS degree is preferred.
- One year of house job, preferably with six months in Medicine/Surgery.
- Additional experience in the relevant field will be an advantage.
Age Requirements
- Civilian candidates: 25 to 35 years.
- Retired Army Officers: Up to 45 years.
Nationality
Applicants must be Pakistani citizens or Azad Jammu Kashmir citizens.Ineligibility
The following candidates are ineligible to apply:- Those discharged or released from any Government service on disciplinary grounds.
- Those convicted by a Court of Law for an offense involving moral turpitude.
Terms and Conditions of Service
- The Medical Officer can be appointed anywhere in Balochistan/Sindh Province, within the Pakistan Coast Guards area of responsibility.
- Pension and gratuity are not admissible.
- Efficiency and Discipline Rules as enshrined in Esta Code 1973 would be applicable.
- One month's advance notice is required for termination of the contract by either side or payment of basic pay in lieu thereof.
- No postgraduate training courses will be allowed during the contract period.
- The Official Secret Act, 1923 would be applicable.

Applicants are required to submit two (2) copies of the following documents duly attested:- Computerized National Identity Card
- Domicile
- Education Certificate/Degree (Matric/FSc/MBBS/MPH)
- Marks sheet of MBBS (Final professional)
- House Job Certificates
- Experience Certificate
- Character Certificate
- PMDC Registration Certificate
- Two (2) photographs (passport size)
Selection Procedure
- Call-up notices will be issued after scrutiny to eligible applicants for the written test.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- No TA/DA for the Written Test/Interview is admissible to candidates.
- Employment will be governed by Pakistan Coast Guards Employment Rules. These can be obtained from Headquarters Pakistan Coast Guards on demand before submitting the application.
