Job Overview

The Pakistan Meteorological Department invites applications for the position of Civil Engineer under the Strengthening Hydromet and Climate Services (Component-II of IFRAP) / Modernization of Hydromet Services of PMD in Pakistan (MHSP). This role is offered on a contract basis for professionals with extensive experience in civil engineering design, planning, and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, or a related field will be an advantage.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in civil engineering design, planning, cost estimation, preparation of BOQs, construction supervision, contract administration, and quality assurance of public infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) standards, Building Codes of Pakistan, Public Procurement Rules, and contract administration procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other engineering software.
