Job Overview

Balochistan Safe Cities Authority invites applications for the position of Chief Technical Officer on a contractual appointment basis. The ideal candidate will provide overall technical leadership and advisory support to the Director General and the Authority on all technical, technological, and ICT-related matters.

Qualification and Experience

Candidates must hold a minimum qualification of Master's degree or 4 years BS in Computer Sciences, IT, or an equivalent degree from an HEC recognized university. A minimum of 15 years of experience in Project Management, software development, or IT leadership is required. Proven experience in developing technology strategies, leading technical teams, managing tier 3 level Data Center operations, IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, budgets, vendors, and project delivery is essential.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading the planning, design, development, integration, implementation, operation, and upgradation of Safe City systems.
• Formulating and implementing the technology strategy, architecture, standards, and technical roadmap.
• Overseeing Command, Control, Communication, Computing and Intelligence (C4I) systems, surveillance networks, data centers, and cybersecurity platforms.
• Supervising technical teams, managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and ensuring system resilience and disaster recovery.
