Chief Legal Officer (CLO)

Job Overview

Applications are being accepted for the position of Chief Legal Officer (CLO) for the 'Jinnah Medical Complex & Research Center (JMC&RC) Company' project under the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination. This contract role, based in Islamabad, is initially for 3 years or the project's duration. The CLO will provide legal counsel and manage all legal aspects of the project.

Educational Qualification & Experience

Education: Minimum 16 years of education or equivalent from an HEC recognized university/institution in LL.B. or LL.M. in Corporate/Construction Law, Healthcare Law, or related fields.
Experience: 15 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years of leadership/managerial level experience in the legal department of a company, preferably in the construction business (mega construction projects-preferably in healthcare). Candidates with experience in the medical or related field shall be given preference. Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, EPC, etc.), healthcare regulations, public-private partnerships (PPP), and Pakistan Public Procurement Rules. Knowledge of Pakistan Healthcare Regulations 2022, construction laws, and hospital accreditation requirements shall be preferred.

Skills Required

Excellent negotiation, litigation, and risk management skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Age Limits

Applicants should be aged between 35 to 50 Years.

Terms and Conditions

A competitive market-based salary and annual performance incentives are offered. The contract term is initially 3 years, with the potential for extension based on performance and project status. The role is located in Islamabad and may involve travel.
